The Lowdown on Boat Insurance

So you have spotted your dreamboat, it is the one you absolutely must have. Once you have purchased your boat you will definitely want to consider boat insurance. While I'm sure you're aware that boat insurance exists, however, you may not be aware that there are various types of boat insurances available to you.

In general, insurance companies will offer a boat owner a standard Watercraft Liability policy. Some insurance companies offer optional coverage at an additional fee. As with purchasing a new car, if your boat has been financed, the finance company will probably insist on mandatory boat insurance that may not be covered through the standard watercraft liability policy.

Most states make the standard boat insurance a requirement, it is important to abide by the law and obtain boat insurance immediately. Obtaining the minimum coverage will not only satisfy the law, but provide you and any passengers' protection as well. The standard insurance policy will offer coverage of any damage that may arise that is a direct result of actions on the boat. This is true no matter if the damage occurs while in transport or actually on the water.

It is possible that medical payment coverage is a requirement in your area. This type of coverage will pay for any medical expenses to a previously specified amount, which arises as a direct result of an accident covered by the boat insurance policy. As a suggestion, regardless of whether or not medical payment coverage is required, it would be wise to consider it. Medical expenses as a result of an accident can become extremely high and unaffordable, this type of insurance will help in covering these costs

Another additional type of coverage to the standard liability coverage is the wreck removal and pollution coverage. If your boat sinks or is involved in an accident for any reason, you are, by law, responsible for the removal of the boat at once. If any type of fuel spills into the water as a result of an accident, you will be held responsible, which may include a monetary sanction against you. The wreck removal and pollution coverage provides coverage for this type of incident, without the coverage you will be required to pay for the removal and fines out of your own pocket.

Just like in automobile coverage, you must definitely consider insuring you and your boat against an uninsured boat. If another boater does not carry any type of insurance or enough coverage, and an accident occurs between the uninsured boater and your boat within the water, this coverage will provide coverage for replacing your boat or any needed repairs it may requires as a result of an accident.

Sometimes other additional coverage will be available to you, such as coverage for theft, vandalism, collision and other damages that could occur by acts of god. You should speak with an insurance agent and find out what types of boat insurance coverage is available to you.

Psychic Code of Ethics

Anyone offering advice or dealing with information of a personal nature should have a code of ethics which governs their business and protects the interests of their clients. A professional psychic certainly is no exceptions to this rule. As a practicing professional psychic I feel that it is important to share with the general public the rules of conduct and code of ethics which I abide by in my chosen career. The following paragraphs describe the most important principles that I feel must be adhered to at all times. I encourage others in the industry to develop their own set of personal principles and guidelines and make these public as well.

I will be honest about the information shared in a reading. Many times clients ask about relationships or other matters and at times they seem to be seeking validation in one form or another. There are psychics or people claiming to be psychics who have no problem whatsoever with telling clients exactly what they want to hear. I believe in honesty above all else.

I will guarantee every reading. I believe wholeheartedly in the accuracy and importance of the readings that I provide. I back this up with an unequivocal guarantee of my services. I feel strongly that every psychic doing business should do the same.

I wont bury my responsibilities in a heap of legal fine print. Many online psychics feel the need to protect themselves beneath a cloud of legal protection. They ask that you sign off on lengthy legal disclaimers which absolve themselves of any validity or responsibility for the content of their readings. Others cover themselves in the guise of entertainment for the same purpose. I feel that this is a sure sign of something fishy. I dont believe in this practice. I believe in the truth.

I wont give medical or financial advice. Many clients ask general questions about finances and health or future health concerns, if any. In these cases I always recommend that clients seek the advice of a competent physician, attorney, or financial advisor before making any life changing decisions.

I will not coach clients or fish for information from them. Unfortunately, this is a very common practice among unscrupulous psychics. I give readings by email in order to avoid the possibility of cold reading or fishing for information. Clients ask questions, I give answers, no head games.

I will not give readings to the mentally unstable. There have been a few occasions when a person asking for a reading has seemed to me to be mentally unbalanced. I will not accept money from these individuals

I have no limits on the number of questions which can be asked. It is very rare to find an online psychic that doesnt limit the number of questions which may be asked. I feel that this is self serving. I want my clients to feel free to ask any questions they wish, as many questions as they feel necessary or as few.

I wont share information about any reading that I conduct. Much of the information provided in my readings is very personal. I am a professional and as such I hold myself to a professional standard. Some of what I do also involves a certain amount of spiritual counseling. I feel that the information provided from my psychic readings is protected under the same rules of privacy as that of a lawyer, doctor or priest. I will not share information provided by my readings unless a court of law orders me to.

I will not judge. People seeking psychic advice are just like you and me. They come from all walks of life, they are human. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone sometimes needs guidance. I make every attempt to be non-judgmental about those seeking psychic or intuitive advice. This applies as much to house wives and plumbers as it does to politicians and movie stars.

I will not predict anyones time of death. It is rare that a client asks this question but it is certainly worth including in code of ethics. There is a chance that by predicting someones death that you affect the outcome. By voicing the prediction a result may be manifested. In short, I fear that by predicting someones death I will help to cause that persons death. I cringe when self labeled professional psychics engage in this type of behavior. It seems to me that they must not truly believe in their predictions, have homicidal tendencies, or that they simply do not understand the workings of the universe.

I will not use my abilities to control, manipulate or program another human being. I will not assist anyone in controlling or manipulating another human being. Occasionally I am asked to assist in matters of this nature. I simply will not use my abilities to persuade, manipulate, harm or control another person.

A Biography of Kurt Angle

When Kurt Angle joined the world of professional wrestling he used the catchphrase: "Intensity, Integrity and Intelligence), the three I's. But it isn't the three I's that define Kurt Angle, rather it is one word: DEDICATION. The man just will not quit

From his earliest days in sports, Kurt Angle has always shown a drive to win and to be the best at whatever he was competing in. It's not just a Sports Entertainment boast, he really did win his gold medal with a "broken freaking neck!"

THE EARLY YEARS

Born Kurt Steven Angle on December 9th 1968 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Angle always excelled in sports. He was a football and wrestling star in his hometown and rapidly rose to be one of the top amateur wrestlers in the United States winning 2 NCAA titles in the heavyweight division (1990 and 1992). He went on to international success when he won a gold medal at the World Championship in 1995.

In 1996 though Angle took his success to a whole other level when he won a Gold Medal in the Atlanta Olympic Games for the 220 pound freestyle wrestling class. His instant fame was such that he was given a tryout for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

ENTERING PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING

Angle began to flirt with Pro-Wrestling very soon after his Olympic win. In fact he appeared briefly at an ECW show just months later. He didn't wrestle at the show, but was a guest commentator for a match featuring Taz. There had been plans to have him more actively involved with the promotion, however he was offended by another angle that ECW ran (the Sandman crucifixion) and is reported to have stormed out of the arena.

Kurt signed with the then WWF in 1998 and after a short while at their developmental territory of the time (Power Pro Wrestling in Memphis) he made his TV debut on November 14th 1999 playing a moralizing and self-satisfied character and referencing the three I's of intensity, integrity and intelligence.

The WWF had high hopes for Angle and pushed him heavily with title wins and victories over many established WWF names. During the course of his first year Angle won the King of the Ring tournament, the European Title and the Intercontinental Title. The push finally resulted in winning the WWF World Heavyweight Championship in a match against The Rock on October 22nd 2000.

Kurt Angle continued to wrestle at the top of the WWE's roster for the next several years, accumulating several more title wins. Unfortunately from 2003 onwards the damage he had previously done to his neck became a greater problem and he required time off to heal on several occasions. Angle actually considered taking time off to train and compete in the 2004 Olympics, but gave up that plan when he discovered just how bad the damage to his neck was. Instead after a brief absence of 3 months for neck surgery, Angle regained the title in June of 2003 and continued to wrestle for WWE week in and week out.

Over the next 3 years Angle continued wrestling, holding the championship again and always involved in a top level feud either on RAW, or Smackdown. Despite several absences to recuperate from his injuries, Angle always came back to give 100% in the ring and present the fans with some of the best matches that WWE had to offer.

When the WWE decided to revive the ECW promotion, they picked Angle to be the star and new face to sell this promotion to the WWE audience, but finally the damage his body had taken after years of wrestling proved too much.

INJURIES

Over the course of his career, Kurt Angle has sustained many injuries that would normally end a sportsman's career. Yet in each case through sheer stubborn will power he has gone on to continued success.

The most famous of those injuries was his broken neck. In the 1996 Olympic Trials, he cracked 2 vertebrae, herniated 2 discs and pulled 4 muscles. Easily enough to sideline them. However he managed to win the trials and then through a combination of rehab and pain killing shots he was able to win the Gold Medal.

The next famous injury incident also involves Angle's neck. In 2003, Angle was scheduled to wrestle then champion Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. As usual, Angle toughed it out and went ahead with the match (a match which ironically featured Lesnar coming dangerously close to breaking his own neck). In April, only weeks after competing, Angle went in for neck surgery. Taking only 14 weeks off to recuperate, he was back wrestling (and winning the title) in June of the same year.

By March of 2004, Angle's neck problems were as bad as ever, but he refused to take the surgery that might end his career and after a brief respite where he played the Smackdown General Manager on TV, he returned to wrestling again.

Finally the accumulated injuries proved too much for Angle. WWE gave him a 30 day rest in June of this year (shortly after he moved to ECW), however on returning from his break, he immediately re-injured himself.

On August 25th, 2006 Kurt Angle was granted an early release from his WWE contract due to personal issues.

Is this the last we will see of Angle in the wrestling ring? Somehow I think that very unlikely.

5 Easy Steps to Test a Business Idea Online for Under $1000

So you have a business idea that you believe will solve pressing issues for your business clients. Maybe it will even end world hunger and rid the world of AIDS? Congratulations are in order! Now what?

How can you find out if the idea you dreamed up will make it in the real world? You can follow the conventional route of hiring consultants to do market research if you have enough money to bankroll a project and are confident the risk is worth the possible payoff. But are there other options? Thankfully, the path to exploratory market research has been shortened by the advent of pay-per-click advertising tools like Yahoo! Search Marketing and Google Adwords.

You can get started with exploratory market research online in 5 easy steps!

1. Digest your business idea and the benefits it will offer your target market for a few days. Do conventional research in your area of specialty by reading industry periodicals and blogs from industry leaders. Then write a short article or white paper that offers some key tidbits of information about the benefits of your new business idea or product without compromising any of your intellectual property.

2. Use keyword research tools like Google Adwords Keyword Tool (https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal) and Yahoo's Keyword Selector Tool (http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com/rc/srch/) along with search engines like Google and Ask. The latter has a useful "Narrow Your Search" prompt in the right hand sidebar that will speed up your task considerably. If you want to get serious, subscribe to Wordtracker and do some research based on the past behavior of search engine users - this is an effective way to find key phrases that will work.

3. Learn the editorial rules for Yahoo! Search Marketing (http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com/rc/srch/htgla_con.php) and Google Adwords (https://adwords.google.com/select/guidelines.html) and write your first Ads using the keywords you discovered during step 2. These ads should accurately reflect the content your article or white paper will provide.

4. Either learn enough HTML to create a basic HTML landing page with your selling points picking up the thread from your pay-per-click ads, or hire a designer to set up a simple landing page for you.

The landing page should require a minimum of customer information, such as name and email address. Remember, you can start a dialog and learn more from your site visitors once they decide to trust you with their email address. Include a brief privacy policy that states your intention to protect the security of your site visitors' information.

When submitted, the form should send you an email notifying you of the name and email address of the site visitor who wants to read your valuable article or white paper. If the site takes off, you'll want to automate this step, but this simple form will be enough to get you started.

5. Set up accounts and campaigns with Yahoo! Search Marketing and Google Adwords keeping your cost-per-click as low as possible. If your keyword research was effective, you should be able to get traffic for a free product like your article for between .15 and .25/click. Once you have traffic coming to your site, you will want to learn about conversion rates - (the number of visitors who sign up for your article)/(the number of total visitors to your site or page) - and tweak your landing page to improve your conversion rate as much as possible.

Conclusion There you have it, my 5 easy steps to testing your business idea. Of course, this is only the beginning. Once you have your campaign set up, you will probably want to develop surveys and have conversations with your subscribers regarding your idea. However, you will have qualified potential clients with whom to examine the effect of your ideas in the real world.

Federal Rules Of Bankruptcy

Don't Attempt Bankruptcy Without Knowing Bankruptcy Law

If you think that you have nothing now, the new bankruptcy laws could even shrink that! The new bankruptcy law overhauls the laws that were modified in 1978. It not only tightens the requirements for those who want to file for bankruptcy but for their attorneys as well.

These are several of the major changes that were initiated under the new bankruptcy law:

  • Means Test You now have to show that you are not abusing the use of bankruptcy. This test calculates what you make per month minus certain expenses that are allowed. The median income will vary from state to state. If you fail the means test, then you must file for Chapter 13 bankruptcy.

  • Expense allowances Guidelines are put forth by the IRS for allowable expenses, and they are stingy. The food allowance is approximately $200 a month, and the housing allowance is approximate $800 a month.

  • Residency requirements There are state and federal bankruptcy laws, and some state laws are more lenient than others. Texas and Florida have very generous homestead allowances. The new bankruptcy law discourages you to look around for the best deal. You are not permitted to file for bankruptcy in a more favorable state unless you have resided there for a minimum of two years.

  • Mandatory credit counseling Another change that came with the new bankruptcy law is that you have to take a credit counseling course that has been approved within 180 days of filing for bankruptcy. Sorry to say, this is not a free course. The cost of this course is approximately $75.00.

  • More paperwork In order to prove that bankruptcy is necessary, the consumer will have to present much more documentation. Such things a debtor must provide are: a list of all unsecured and secured creditors, proof of taking the credit counseling course, a detailed list of ones expenses and monthly income, liabilities and assets, the most recent tax return, photo ID and pay stubs.

  • Hefty legal fees A bankruptcy attorney must now certify that their clients figures are accurate. If they prove not to be, the lawyer as well as the client may face sanctions. This means that your attorney must do more investigating and fact-checking to make sure your information as well as his certification is above-board.

Is it best to have a bankruptcy attorney when and if it comes time to file for bankruptcy? There is certainly no legal requirement stating that you have to retain a lawyer. However, you would be very foolish not to do so. If you choose to file on your own, and forget to file certain documents, your case can be subject to dismissal and you will need to start again from the very beginning. As an example, a couple recently tried to file for bankruptcy online. They were not exactly sure if we should have filed jointly or just the husband. They were doing it on their own and really goofed things up and now they are paying for it! Please do not do this in an attempt to save some money because it will only come back to haunt you in the end. It is in your best interest to have an experienced bankruptcy attorney working for you.
